Even the most accomplished champion dancer has to start somewhere. In our beginner classes, our dancers are taught the skills of pointing their toes, basic technique and movements such as Spring 2,3s, point hop backs and sevens. These movements are demonstrated by our qualified teachers who work closely with each beginner dancer.
We focus on teaching timing, rhythm and learning to count music as well as counting in Irish Gaelic.
These skills are incredibly important as dancers develop and move towards learning hard shoe dancing which dancers
begin to learn once they have mastered two dances, the reel and the light jig.
